Support Us

ScotWays’ works tirelessly to keep open rights of way and to uphold public access to land and water in Scotland. As an independent charity, we receive no public funding. Our work is funded by membership subscriptions, fees for legal searches to confirm (and protect) rights of way, project funding, donations and legacies.

We are grateful for all gifts which can help people in Scotland and visitors from elsewhere, enjoy our wonderful landscape. Our outdoor access is unique in the British Isles and requires constant vigilance. If you appreciate your right of access to land in Scotland and support what we do, please consider making a gift to ScotWays now.

Volunteer

ScotWays couldn’t operate without volunteers.  They help out at our Edinburgh Office with everything from stuffing envelopes to researching path history.  Across Scotland, volunteers represent us on local access forums and walk paths to keep an eye out for problems and help keep Scottish Hill Tracks up to date.
