Welcome to the ScotWays Shop

Do you enjoy getting outdoors in Scotland?

Do you value your rights of way in Scotland?

Do you appreciate your right of access to the outdoors in Scotland?

Why not support our work?

Membership of the Society is a great way to hear more about our work, get directly involved, and meet like-minded people.  As a ScotWays member you will receive our annual report and two newsletters a year.  You can also participate in our members' walks programme, and receive a discount on certain publications in our shop and get a discount at some outdoor retailers.

We have different categories of membership starting with Ordinary for individuals, Concession for the retired, unwaged and students, Joint/Family for two or more people living at the same address and a Joint/Family Concession.  Best value is probably Life membership and we have a Joint/Family version of that too.  We also offer Community Council or Club membership.

Our membership year runs from 1st July to 30th June.  Any applications that come in on or after 1st April are allocated to the following membership year, whilst any applications that come in between 1st July to 31 March are allocated to the current membership year.

You can join here and now.  Just select a membership type from the drop down list below and click on "Add to Cart".  You can also renew an existing membership this way.

Once you’ve added your membership to your cart why not browse our online shop to see if there is anything else you would like to buy before heading to the checkout.

Gift Aid
The Government's 'Gift Aid' scheme allows us to claim back 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate on your subscription or any donation you give us at no extra cost to you.

If you agree to the Gift Aid option you accept the following:

"I would like ScotWays to treat any donations or membership subscriptions I have made over the past four years and any I may make in the future, as Gift Aid donations, until I notify you otherwise.

I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gain Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year to ScotWays and to any other charities and CASCs, it is my responsibility to pay any difference."

Please notify ScotWays if you:

  • Want to cancel this declaration
  • Change your name or home address
  • No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains
